Unfortunately by this time rye vehicle had fallen on hard times and had deteriorated having not moved for a number of years.

On the 9th of June, 2002 and on the outskirts of Manchester CR163 was purchased by Richard Lloyd Jones and moved to North West Wales for restoration and preservation.
