CRG163 attends the Henblas Vintage Rally on the Isle of Anglesey. As CRG163 was coming home to Anglesey the vehicle’s destination displayed ‘X10 AMLWCH’.   CRG163 was based at Crosville’s Amlwch depot between 1979 and 1984.

A very dear friend was at the show, that being Derek Thompson who had worked at Crosville’s Caernarfon depot back in the day.  Here is Derek sitting behind the wheel of CRG163 at the vintage rally.

A nearside image of Derek Thompson, a very dear friend sitting behind the wheel of CRG163.  It was Derek who supplied the original NBC design specifications to be used in the production of CRG163’s vinyls and stickers in preservation.  Sadly Derek passed away a number of years ago by now but is missed by so many, a very dear friend to so many of us.
