Rebuilding and refitting of side lockers

01 - 08 August 2022

Over the course of a few weeks the nearside battery locker has been stripped down, rebuilt with a new wooden frame as well as the receptor wooden part on the vehicle itself.

Our grateful thanks to Sion Lloyd.

Sion is a first class carpenter and has his own website.  Please click on the following web link in red to access Sion’s website: Sion Lloyd or on the image below containing Sion’s contact details.

Work will progress to other lockers that need repair.  Once completed with all outstanding woodwork we will be moving to filling and sanding of screw holes in lockers etc before vehicle repaint.

The vehicle’s rear nearside locker is also dismantled and rebuilt with a new reinforced wooden frame over and above what was previously in place.  The wooden lower frame of the vehicle has also been replaced that holds the locker once in place.  Our thanks once again to our friend Sion.
