An original three piece front bumper is being sought for CRG163 which can be chromed or chromed already.
CRG163 is an ECW bodied, Bristol RELH Series 2 Mark 1 coach of 1970 build.

It appears that the rear bumper on CRG163 is original, however the front bumper is fibreglass. It is assumed that the vehicle must have sustained some kind of collision at some point during its operation life which has forced the original bumper to be replaced.
From studying photos it appears that the front umber must have been changed sometime around 1982/1983 when the vehicle was ERG163 at Crosville’s Amlwch depot as noticeable changes can be seen - see below images. Does anyone remember the bumper being changed in the early 1980’s at all? More details from the link.
In all photos of the vehicle from 1970 to around 1982/1983 the plate section highlighted with the left yellow arrow can be seen, but then changes to as seen in photos as shown with the green arrow, which remains as such to this day. The dates in red don’t seem to match these changes though but clear that changes have been made to the front bumper circa 1982/1983.
ERG163 is seen here following its withdrawal from service in 1984. The front bumper is clearly seen.
